I always thought my mother's Pumpkin Pie and my grandmother's were the same recipe. They are not. This is the pie grandma made me any time (not just holidays) because, as she said, I love "Pumpum Pie!"
Ingredients
Pumpkin (or 2 Small Cans)
Granulated Sugar: 2 3/4 Cup
Eggs: 2
Nutmeg: 1 TSP
Vanilla: 1/2 TSP
Cinnamon: 2 TSP
Salt: 1 TSP
Ginger: 1/2 TSP
Milk: 2 Cup
Pie Crusts: 3
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 °F.
Mix all ingredients except crusts.
Place crusts in 3 pie pans.
Fill crusts with pumpkin mixture. Trim and crimp crusts.
Bake pie at 425 °F for 15 minutes.
Do not open oven, reduce temperature to 350 °F.
Bake an additional 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
