Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.

- Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the sour milk.
- Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

- Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass dipped in flour.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
