Old fashioned family recipe from my great aunt Julia.
Ingredients
- Granulated Sugar: 1 Pint
- Water: 1/4 Pint
- Cream Of Tartar: 1/2 TSP
- Butter (Small, lump)
- Sorghum: 2 TSP
- Vanilla
- Popcorn
Instructions
- Cook sugar, water, and cream of tartar until the mixture will harden in cold water.
- Add sorghum and cook again until it hardens in cold water.
- Add a small lump of butter and some vanilla.
- Pour over popcorn and form into balls.
