A pumpkin spice latte is easy to make at home thanks to this recipe. Plus, you don't need any fancy equipment to whip up this autumn coffee drink!
Ingredients
Pumpkin Puree: 2 TBSP
Brown Sugar: 1 TBSP
Granulated Sugar: 1 TBSP
Pumpkin Pie Spice (plus more for serving): 1/2 TSP
Whole Milk: 1 Cup
Vanilla Extract: 2 TSP
Hot Espresso Or Strongly Brewed Coffee: 1/4 Cup
Whipped Cream (for serving)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, brown and granulated sugars, pumpkin pie spice and 1 tablespoon of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently with a rubber spatula, 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture looks smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
Add the milk and vanilla to the pot and whisk until very smooth. Cook 2 to 3 minutes until just simmering. Remove from the heat. Whisk vigorously or let cool slightly, transfer to a mason jar, cover and shake vigorously to create a foamy milk.
Add the coffee to a mug and immediately top with the foamy pumpkin spice milk. Top with whipped cream and an additional sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
