This classic Low Country Boil recipe has everything we love in it. Juicy shrimp, sweet baby new potatoes, fresh crisp corn and spicy sausage boiled in a rich flavorful broth.
Ingredients
Sizzlefish Wild Caught Colossal Shrimp: 4 Pkg.
Water: 1 Gallon
Lemons (cut into quarters)
Large Onion (quartered)
Garlic Cloves (smashed)
Old Bay Seasoning: 1/3 Cup
New Potatoes (cut in half): 1 Lbs.
Ears Of Corn On The Cob (cut into 2 3 pieces)
Smoked Sausage (cut into one inch pieces cajun sausage or kielbasa work great here cajun sausage or kielbasa work great here): 1 Lbs.
Melted Butter
Old Bay Seasoning
Finely Chopped Parsley
Cocktail Sauce
Lemon Wedges
Instructions
In a large pot, combine the water, lemon, onion, garlic, and old bay seasoning.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once the pot comes to a boil, add the potatoes. Cook until the potatoes just begin to become tender, about 10-12 minutes.
Next, add the corn and sausage to the pot. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they become pink and opaque.
Once the shrimp are cooked, drain the mixture. Place everything onto a large platter.
Garnish with parsley and sprinkle with old bay seasoning.
Serve with melted butter, cocktail sauce, the reserved boiling liquid and lemon wedges.
