Ingredients
- Ground Beef: 1 Lbs.
- Potatoes (Sliced, Large, large): 4
- Onion (Chopped)
- Garlic (Minced): 2 Clove
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese: 1 Cup
- Beef Broth: 1 Cup
- Sour Cream: 1 Cup
- Olive Oil: 1 TBSP
- Paprika: 1 TSP
- Dried Oregano: 1 TSP
- Salt And Pepper To Taste
- Fresh Parsley (Chopped, for garnish for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Season the beef with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with the remaining sliced potatoes.
- Pour beef broth over the potato and beef layers.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top.
