This EXTREME popcorn is laced with garlic flakes and Parmesan cheese. Unbelievable!
Ingredients
Popcorn Kernels (Soon To Be Changed): 1/2 Cup
Garlic (Sliced, No Apologies): 16 Clove
Salt (Don't Be Shy)
Black Pepper (Tiny Violence)
Parmesan Cheese (Optional, but correct): 1/4 Cup
Olive oil (Garlic Bath): 1/3 Cup
Instructions
Thin-slice the garlic cloves.
Add the sliced garlic and olive oil to a small skillet while the oil is still cool.
Warm over medium-low heat, stirring often, until the garlic turns light golden and crisp. Do not overcook the garlic unless bitter disappointment is your goal.
Remove the garlic chips with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. Save the garlic-infused oil.
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the garlic-infused oil to a large pot with a few popcorn kernels. Save this delicious oil for other extreme uses.
Cover and heat over medium-high heat until the test kernels pop.
Add the remaining popcorn kernels, cover the pot, and shake gently while the popcorn pops.
When popping slows, remove from heat.
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl.
Toss with the crispy garlic chips, salt, black pepper, and parmesan if using.
Serve immediately while the garlic is crisp and the popcorn is hot.
