Pumpkin Poe like my Mama used to make!
Ingredients
- Pumpkin: 1 Cup
- Sugar: 1 Cup
- Eggs: 2 Each
- Ground Cinnamon: 1 TSP
- Nutmeg: 1/2 TSP
- Ginger: 1 TSP
- Ground Cloves: 1 TSP
- Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Evaporated milk
- Pie Crust: 1 Each
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Mix until well combined.
- Gradually stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place pie crust in a pie dish.
- Pour pumpkin pie filling into the pie crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Allow pumpkin pie to cool before serving.
