Nicely crisp but not fried buffalo chicken wings.
Ingredients
- Chicken Wing: 4 Lbs
- Baking Powder: 2 TBSP
- Salt: 3/4 TSP
- Black pepper: 1/2 TSP
- Paprika: 1 TSP
- Garlic Powder: 1 TSP
- Sugar: 1 Cup
- Brown Sugar: 1 Cup
- Water: 1 TBSP
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line baking sheet with foil, put rack on top, spray rack with Pam.
- Pat wings dry (very important!) and place in a big bowl. Combine dry ingredients and coat wings thoroughly. Shake off excess.
- Arrange on rack and bake, turning every 20 minutes until internal temp is 165 degrees.
- Remove from oven and let stand 5 mins. Coat with sauce.
- Stir all ingredients in a pan over medium heat until sugar melts. Set aside to cool while wings bake.
