Dad's delicious oven-baked spare ribs. So good!
Ingredients
- Beef Ribs: 2 Lbs
- Yellow Onion (Diced): 1 Each
- Vegetable Oil: 2 TBSP
- White - Distilled Vinegar: 2 TBSP
- Lemon Juice: 1/4 Cup
- Brown Sugar: 2 TBSP
- Worcestershire Sauce: 1 TBSP
- Water: 1/2 Cup
- Chili Sauce: 1 Cup
- Table Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Black Pepper: 1/4 TSP
Instructions
- Cut apart spare ribs if not already done so. Place in baking pan and bake in a 350 oven for 35-40 minutes. Drain off any rendered fat.
- Saute the onion in the oil. Add lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, water, chili sauce, salt and pepper. Cook slowly for 20 minutes to reduce and thicken.
- Pour over spare ribs, and bake for an additional hour.
