Ingredients
- Smooth Peanut Butter: 3/4 Cup
- Butter Flavor Crisco: 1/2 Cup
- Brown Sugar (Packed): 1 1/4 Cup
- Milk: 3 TBSP
- Vanilla Extract: 1 TBSP
- Large Eggs: 1 Each
- All-Purpose Flour: 1 3/4 Cup
- Table Salt: 3/4 TSP
- Baking Soda: 3/4 TSP
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the smooth peanut butter, Butter Flavor Crisco, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add in the milk, vanilla extract, and egg, mixing well to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, table salt, and baking soda.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the dough and roll into balls.
- Place the cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Using a fork, gently press down on each cookie ball to create a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 7-9 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
