- Bread Flour: 4 Cup
- Table Salt: 1 1/2 TSP
- Granulated Sugar: 1/2 TBSP
- Active Dry Yeast: 2 1/4 TSP
- Water, 105 - 120 Degree: 1 1/2 Cup
- Light Olive Oil: 1/2 Cup
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine bread flour, 1 tsp salt, granulated sugar, and 2 tsp active dry yeast.
- Add water (105-120 degrees) and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or desired shape.
- Place the dough in a greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet, cover, and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
