Yummy and simple sugar cookies!
Ingredients
- All-Purpose Flour: 2 3/4 Cup
- Baking Soda: 1 TSP
- Baking Powder: 1/2 TSP
- Unsalted Butter (Softened): 1 Cup
- Granulated Sugar: 1 1/2 Cup
- Large Eggs: 1 Each
- Vanilla Extract: 1 TSP
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the large egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to desired thickness and cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
