Mom's famous pumpkin pie. Libby's plus a little of this, little of that..
Ingredients
- Granulated Sugar: 3/4 Cup
- Ground Cinnamon: 1 TSP
- Ground Nutmeg: 1/2 TSP
- Table Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Ginger Powder: 1/2 TSP
- Ground Cloves: 1/4 TSP
- Large Eggs: 2 Each
- Pumpkin Puree: 15 oz
- Evaporated Milk: 12 Oz
- Unbaked Pie Shell: 1 Each
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, table salt, ginger powder, and ground cloves.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then add to the sugar and spice mixture.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree and evaporated milk until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin pie filling into the unbaked pie shell.
- Bake the pie at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes, or until the filling is set.
