Instructions

• Preheat oven to 300. Lightly grease cookie sheet or use parchment paper.
• Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.
• In a medium bowl, break up the almond paste with a fork. Add egg whites until well blended and smooth.
• With a wooden spoon, stir paste/egg white mixture into dry ingredients, mix well.
• Using slightly rounded teaspoon-fulls, roll dough into 1" balls.
• Place on prepared cookie sheet and press flat into 1 - 1/2" cookies. Sprinkle each cookie with several pine nuts and press into cookie.
• Bake 20-25 minutes until golden.
