Ingredients
- Ground Beef, 80/20: 1 Lbs, 8 Oz
- Yellow Onion (Chopped): 1/2 Cup
- Frozen Mixed Vegetables: 12 Oz
- Tomato Paste: 1/4 Cup
- Italian Seasoning: 1 TSP
- Table Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Black Pepper (Ground): 1/4 TSP
- Beef Broth: 1 1/2 Cup
- All-Purpose Flour: 2 TBSP
- Mashed Potatoes (Made In Advance): 1 Lbs, 8 Oz
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- Add the frozen mixed vegetables, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Whisk the flour into the beef broth, pour into the skillet. Stir well and simmer until thickened.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Spread the beef filling evenly in a baking dish.
- Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading them out to cover the filling completely.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
