Wonderful pasta sauce with basic ingredients and Vodka as a binder
Ingredients
- Garlic Cloves (Minced): 4 Each
- Onions (Diced, Fine): 1/2 Cup
- Tomato Paste
- Vodka: 3 TBSP
- Reserved Pasta Water: 1 Cup
- Heavy Cream: 1 Cup
- Unsalted Butter: 2 TBSP
- Parmesan Cheese (Grated): 1 Cup
- Penne (Cooked, Res. Water): 1 Lbs
Instructions
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- Finely chop the onions.
- In a saucepan, sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the vodka and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Stir in the reserved pasta water.
- Add the heavy cream and butter, stirring until well combined.
- Mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add some of the drained pasta. Mix well. Keep adding pasta until sauce is covering all pasta well.
