Ingredients
- Peaches (Peeled, Sliced): 8 Each
- Sugar: 1/4 Cup
- Brown Sugar: 1/4 Cup
- Ground Cinnamon: 1/4 TSP
- Ground Nutmeg: 1/8 TSP
- Lemon Juice (Fresh): 1 TSP
- Cornstarch: 2 TSP
- All-Purpose Flour: 1 Cup
- Sugar: 1/4 Cup
- Brown Sugar: 1/4 Cup
- Baking Powder: 1 TSP
- Table Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Unsalted Butter (Chilled): 6 TBSP
- Water (Boiling): 1/4 Cup
- Sugar: 3 TBSP
- Ground Cinnamon: 1 TSP
Instructions
- Peel and slice peaches.
- In a bowl, combine peaches, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
- Pour peaches into a baking dish, Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add boiling water, stirring until a crumbly dough forms.
- When the peaches are done baking for 10 minutes, remove from oven and drop dough on top in dollops.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over the pie.
- Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and bubbly.
