The families favorite Italian cookies.
Ingredients
- Butter: 1/2 Cup
- Ricotta cheese: 1 Cup
- Vanilla extract: 1 TSP
- Granulated sugar: 1 Cup
- Eggs: 1 Each
- All-purpose flour: 2 Cup
- Baking soda: 1/2 TSP
- Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Butterscotch Chipe (Half): 1 Bag
Instructions
- Allow butter to soften and let egg and ricotta come to room temperature for best results.
- Blend cheese, butter, and sugar until creamed. Add vanilla and egg, blend well.
- Mix dry ingredients and add to mixing bowl a 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well. Add 1/2 bag butterscotch chips if desired.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased (or parchment) cookie sheet. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 10-12 mins until light brown on the bottom.
