Who wouldn't love BBQ hot dogs?
Ingredients
- Beef Hot Dogs: 8 Each
- Onions (Diced): 1/4 Cup
- Shortening: 1 TBSP
- Ketchup: 1 Cup
- Water: 1/2 Cup
- Brown sugar: 3 TBSP
- Salt: 1/2 TSP
- Black pepper: 1/8 TSP
- Vinegar: 2 TBSP
- Lemon juice: 1/4 Cup
- Worcestershire sauce: 2 TBSP
- Mustard: 1 TBSP
- Celery (Diced): 1/2 Cup
Instructions
- Saute onion and celery until soft.
- Combine all other ingredients except hot dogs and add to pan. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Prick hot dogs with a fork and add to pan. Simmer 20 minutes more.
